I've started this facebook group (20/1/10) before the project has started. Little did I know, that this could be my project itself. When I saw alot of brands out there are contributing to the Haiti effort, I thought I could do the same with my powers. After a few research into the issue, I found it is actually quite easy and cheap to produce T-shirts at a low cost. Therefore I set myself a target on selling 25 tees as anything more, it would cost a lot (not in promotion).Group Description:
Haiti was hit by a second earthquake this morning (measuring 6.1) as the country reels from the devastating 7.0 earthquake only eight days ago. Last week’s quake killed an estimated 200,000 people, left 250,000 injured and made 1.5 million people homeless.
Having seen many brands out there creating Charity Tees for this disaster, I thought I'll contribute to the effort as well.
The graphic I'll be using is a shot from Google Map which I found last week. I think the image speaks for itself, so I hope you guys will climb on board and contribute to the cause.
The tee should cost £2.50 to make, but it'll be £10 to purchase. Therefore £7.50 will go straight to the Red Cross Haiti Earthquake Appeal.
